Our Original Charter
In 1606, King James 1 authored a document known as the First Charter of Virginia. This charter assigned land rights to the colonists for the stated purpose of propagating the Christian religion.
Purpose of the Charter
“We, greatly commending, and graciously accepting of, their Desires for the Furtherance of so noble a Work, which may, by the Providence of Almighty God, hereafter tend to the Glory of his Divine Majesty, in propagating of Christian Religion to such People, as yet live in Darkness and miserable Ignorance of the true Knowledge and Worship of God, and may in time bring the Infidels and Savages, living in those parts, to human Civility, and to a settled and quiet Government: DO, by these our Letters Patents, graciously accept of, and agree to, their humble and well-intended Desires.”
America’s Covenant with God
In 1607, the expedition led by Pastor Robert Hunt, arrived in Virginia Beach. When they arrived in Virginia, the expedition dedicated our country to the glory of God. They planted a rough-hewn wooden cross, which they brought from England, in the sand and prayed:
“We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth. May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World. May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled.”
Our Godly Foundation
America was raised up by God to be a city on a hill, a beacon of light to all nations.
America was called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations of the earth.
America is one nation, under God. We have put our trust in Him and no other. We have no king but Jesus.
The phrases “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God;” an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the world,” “the Creator,” and “divine Providence” are all in our Declaration of Independence. As a part of the legal document that birthed our nation, it gives us authority today. Our faith is in this God, the God of our founding fathers!
Proclaim the Gospel!
Leviticus 25:10 is on the Liberty Bell: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.”
This verse, referencing Christ as the world’s Redeemer, was announced at our birth, through the ringing of the bell, proclaiming our faith and our destiny. The truth of its message is raised over America again today: Christ is our Redeemer! Proclaiming His message is our purpose!
God’s Will In America, As In Heaven
Yahweh is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King (Isaiah 33:22). Our three branches of government (judicial, legislative, and executive) were formed according to heaven’s pattern and under His rule!
God’s mercy over America endures forever, and His mercies are new every morning! He who began a good work in us will complete it; He had a plan for our restoration before we even turned against Him! The Lord’s redeeming power is greater than satan’s deceiving lies, and His truth will prevail!
America is in covenant with the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy. Through Him, AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalms 33:12
We Need Godly Government – Government is vitally important. Whether it’s in a home, a city, a nation, or any other grouping of people, God’s original intent for government was that it serve people by providing protection, justice, and peace. Righteous government is God’s primary method of releasing these necessary actions and outcomes in the earth.
But Where is the Church? – In America, “we the people” have the amazing right to elect those we want to rule over us; and “we the believers” have the numbers to ensure that those we do elect will be leaders who honor God’s biblical values. The problem though is approximately half of all evangelicals aren’t even registered to vote, and half of those who are registered, still don’t vote.
Change is Possible – It’s time for us to wake up, and exercise the power we have as believers to bring God’s will to pass in the earth as it is in Heaven. Our votes, based on biblical truth, can save the lives of babies, protect the reproductive future of children, safeguard God’s plan for marriage and the family, and restore our God-given freedoms.
New Day, New Direction – A new day is dawning in America. God is leading us in a new direction, a 180° turn-around in 2024!

Let’s pray:
Father, we thank you that you are awakening your Church in America. The sleeping giant is stirring. Cause the alarm clock of your kingdom to become louder and louder. Make it impossible for Christians in our nation to ignore or silence the alarm, or to override it with other activities and thoughts.
Our hearts are filled with faith that you are changing things dramatically in our nation. The conscience of America is being brought back to life. The heart of a complacent and passive Church is being quickened by your Spirit, and is being synchronized to beat in unison with your compassionate and loving heart. Thank you for your grace and mercy upon our nation.
We pray a hedge of protection around our governmental leaders and their families. We declare that angelic hosts surround them, deliver them, and keep them from all harm. We decree that no violence shall be heard within our borders, and that peace will prevail in our land.
Holy Spirit, give us leaders who will walk in truth, integrity, and courage, bringing glory to the name of Jesus.
Father, thank you for turning the United States of America back to you. We declare that we, the Church, will involve ourselves at every level and in every facet of government going forward, releasing your authority and blessing into our land through our prayers and our actions.
We are grateful that you have not given up on America. And since you have not given up on her, we won’t either. Your verdict has been rendered: America shall be saved! So be it! And we, your family, will do our part to bring your will to pass.
Thank you, Lord, for blessing America!
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
